    Research Assistant Gr. II

    Qualifications

    1. A four-year Degree with specialization in the relevant subject (please see below) with First or Second Class (Upper Division) Honors
    2. OR
    3. A four-year Degree with specialization in the relevant subject (please see below) with Second Class (Lower Division) Honors
    4. OR
    5. A Degree with the relevant subjects (please see below) and a Postgraduate Degree in the relevant subject with a research component.

    6. Relevant Subjects for Project

      Project - Natural Resources and Renewable Energy
      Relevant Subjects – Geology and/or Physics


      Remuneration:

      Employment will be on contract basis. Salary scale is as follows:

      Research Assistant Gr.II – 27,775 – 3 x 645 - 29,710/- + 25% (Re.All.) + Approved Government allowances

      Employees will contribute 10% of their salary to the NIFS Staff Provident Fund, while the Institute will contribute 15%. In addition, the Institute will contribute 3% of the salary to the ETF.     Electrician Gr.III / Machinist Gr.III

    Qualifications

    Should have passed minimum of 02 subjects in G.C.E.(O/L) Examination.

    AND

    Certificate course (not less than one year) in the relevant field conducted by a recognized organization not below the National Vocational Qualification(NVQ) Level 4.

    Exposes to computerized Auditing environment will be a distinct advantage.


    Age:

    Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.


    Remuneration:

    Employment will be on permanent basis. The Salary scale & code will be as follows:

    PL 3– 2016 - 26,290 – 10x270 – 10x300 – 10x330 – 12x350 – 39,490/- Salary Point for 2017 – 18,118/- & Adjustment allowance + 7,203/- + Approved Government allowances

    Selection Procedure –

    Trade Test and a structured interview.


    Employees will contribute 10% of their salary to the NIFS Staff Provident Fund, while the Institute will contribute 15%. In addition, the Institute will contribute 3% of the salary to the ETF.     Qualifications

    Should have passed minimum of 02 subjects in G.C.E.(O/L) Examination.


    Age:

    Should be not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years.


    Remuneration:

    Employment will be on permanent basis. The Salary scale & code will be as follows:

    PL 1– 2016 - 24,750 – 10x250 – 10x270 – 7x300 – 15x330 – 37,000/- Salary Point for 2017 – 17,058/- & Adjustment allowance . + 7,412/- + Approved Government allowances

    Selection Procedure –

    Trade Test and a structured interview.
