About
The NIFS Library was established in 1985 with a small collection of books and journals donated by Professor Cyril Ponnamperuma, well-wishers and the Asia Foundation. Today, the Library consists of a modest collection of over 6,900 books, monographs and edited volumes as well as about 120 journal titles covering a wide spectrum of sciences. Visitors to the NIFS Library have access to the internet, photocopying and scanning facilities and reading rooms. Library users can find newspapers with scientific articles dating back many years, modern and old scientific magazines, books on life, mathematical and physical sciences, philosophy and history of science, a collection of fundamental textbooks, monographs, edited volumes, periodicals, newsletters, and annual reports from local and foreign institutions.Admission & Membership
