Ushani Sandunika

Research Assistant - Condensed Matter Physics and Solid State Chemistry

Ushani Sandunika is currently working as a Research Assistant with the Condensed Matter Physics and Solid State Physics project at the National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS). She obtained her B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Physics from the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka in 2022. She is currently pursuing an M.Phil. degree at the Postgraduate Institute of Science, University of Peradeniya.

Her research focuses on the development of photoanodes, electrolytes, and counter electrodes for dye-sensitized solar cells. Her research interests include the advancement of materials and methods for improving solar cell performance.
