Appointment of Secretary

Mrs. S.C. Herath, Deputy Registrar of the University of Peradeniya, who was on sabbatical leave has been appointed as the Secretary of the National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS) with effect from 02.05.2023.

Mrs. S.C. Herath, has expertise in Administration with a unique blend of Management.  She obtained her B.A. Degree in Economics, from the University of Peradeniya, a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Colombo and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the University of Peradeniya.
