40th Anniversary Commemoration Webinar Series - History of National Institute of Fundamental Studies

The National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS) organizes a series of programmes, to celebrates its 40th Anniversary. The Webinar Series commenced on mid-July 2021 to promote research and innovation culture in Sri Lanka is one of them.

The second webinar was indeed a successful event which was held on the 27th October 2021 as an online event. World renowned scientist Professor Kirthi Tennakone (former Director of the NIFS) delivered this lecture on the History of the National Institute of Fundamental Studies. He highlighted the impact of NIFS and its activities on future research and innovations in Sri Lanka.
