“Inculcating science in young minds” - One-day training programme

A very successful one-day training programme on “Inculcating science in young minds” was held on the 27th of October at the Katugastota Ambatanna Pushpadana Vidiyalaya. 

This programme was organized by the National Institute of Fundamentals with the sponsorship of
Dr. Sardha Hemapriya, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist , Kandy National Hospital.  

80 O/L students actively engaged with the workshop. Dr. Kumari Tilakaratne, Head of the Science Education and Dissemination Unit delivered the lectures to the students. An interesting series of science experiments was also demonstrated to the students to change their attitude about science.

Students actively participated the program and gave very positive feedback.
