Professor M.A.K. Lakshman Dissanayake was conferred the Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa)

Professor M.A.K. Lakshman Dissanayake, Research Professor of the Condensed Matter Physics and Solid State Chemistry programme of the NIFS, was conferred the Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) by the University of Peradeniya during the annual convocation on 21st August 2024. This prestigious award recognizes his outstanding academic achievements and his significant contributions to the university and society in the domains of academia, research, and research administration.
