Strategic Initiatives for SCIDI - Ministry Visit
On July 29, 2024, Ministry officials visited NIFS with the primary objective of initiating the "Strategic Collaboration for Innovation and Development Initiatives (SCIDI)" program. Launched by the Ministry's Development & Innovation division, this program aims to foster effective collaboration between the Ministry and the institutes under its purview to accelerate their activities.
Mr. K.R. Uduwawala, Additional Secretary of Development and Innovation, along with Mrs. Kumari Meegahakotuwa, Director General of Planning, Dr. Uthpala Alahakoon, Director of Development & Innovation, and other dignitaries, met with the NIFS officers to discuss matters related to the SCIDI programme.
